On August 23, 2010, dismissed Police Inspector Rolando Mendoza
hijacked a tourist bus fom Hong Kong, parked near Manila's Rizal Park. A 12-hour hostage stand-off on a hijacked Philippine bus ended in bloodshed.

Mendoza, 55, was honored by Jaycees International in 1986 as one of the top 10 officers in the country.

Police said they stormed the bus after they saw Mendoza open fire on hostages.

Mendoza was killed by sniper fire as police stormed the Hong Thai tour bus to end the crisis.

tears fill my eyes, when i received my auntie called, said my uncle (yi jeong)
passed away this morning in the hospital.

at school,
guru called me Cheang Yoke Keng'
friends called me Yoke Keng, Ah Keng, Keng Keng,
Keng and Keng Keng jie jie and
some babe called me 'sei lo keng' .

at work :-
gary called me yuki,
helen called me Ah Yuk
joseph called me 'chen' and
some give face called me 'Yuki jie'

Just called yuki or keng however you liked - but i'll forever miss The Keng Revolution since 1977 as it my greatest time.
